Directly after the cease of the Second World War the society began to deem that the world’s core ethical foundations are understandable and justifiable . Both global politics and social relations were depending on the ideas of advancement , positive changes , confidence in the logical , awareness , technological innovations , and the knowledge of how to explain any happening from a rational standpoint . However , beginning from the second half of the 60’s, the world has begun to degrade and now , 40 years later , we dwell in a new type of reality .
We without any problems mark all innovations which are brought to us by new technology, but we seldom are aware of the fact that there are specific ideas standing behind those solutions . The core of the expected adjustment was initially tracked by those people, who as a rule lived anteceding their time – writers and authors. Among the numerous authors whose works have served for amusement , there have been a few who have given the planet a new vision . They have better than others other people shaped and voiced authentic ideas and have ultimately done a brand new intelligent and perceptual analysis of the future. They have spotted problems in the mundane of our lives and have opened a set of problems, which were dragging on without being noted . They have assisted us to realize the new problems , and have given us new aspirations .
These were the authors who have formed the minds of the entire generation, which has live through the times of dramatic change; change, which was perceived as disarray at the start of the 21 first century. They have turned our attention to the most burning issues of the previous century; those issues , which the people , having survived through the world wars and unprecedented violence , was reluctant to face . Finally they were formulating the main question “How will we live in the world of future?”
In this paper we will name some of the most well known authors of the last century. They have all greatly influenced literature of their epoch, have revealed looks and difficulties which were typical to their people and the times they lived in, and have motivated the readers analyze the existing ideology of values, having them realize that it is far away from being genuine. One of the most exciting feature of their writing is that in most cases they have risen the person’s attention in books and written works. in this case one of the most interesting success writings is that of a famous writer Anne Bronte .
The success of Joan Rowling can be named special as she has found herself to be the first author in the world to make $1 billion by writing fairytales. She is currently spending a huge part of her profit on charity, fighting poverty and illness. The plot of the book was invented while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to bring out her book, she has given her 1500 pounds together with a friendly advice — to find a stable job. He was hesitant of the idea that the young author would be able to make money of writing books. Joann has proved the opposite - having written a number of exceptional fairytales, she has made the so-called non-reading generation get back to reading.
This work is not able to enumerate and more or less exactly list all writers who have given their contribution to the today’s literature. They have been working and presenting ideas directly into the heads of the millions, and in this way were shaping the future. Thus, as we can see, these writers were not writing for entertainment only, but they were also playing a significant part in molding the culture and the views of a civilization of the 20th century.
